  7. FOREFRONT Purchase Order provides the contractor with a system for controlling
  8. purchases by the project managers. The Purchase Order system is integrated with
  9. FOREFRONT's Job Cost to immediately track the total dollar amount committed to
  10. the job and phase. This gives the contractor the power to spot potential cost
  11. overruns as the orders are being placed. The system is integrated with
  12. FOREFRONT's Accounts Payable providing the accounting control to automatically
  13. track the difference between ordered and invoiced.

  15. FOREFRONT Purchase Order supports both plain paper and pre-printed formats. It
  16. accommodates stock items, as well as miscellaneous vendor charges, and
  17. message-only lines. Review of outstanding orders is convenient on screen or in
  18. reports, and can be performed by vendor, item code, or job and phase
  19.  
  20. To insure accuracy and reduce input time, the Purchase Order module is fully
  21. integrated with all other modules in the FOREFRONT Construction Management
  22. series.
